Through first-hand interviews and historic research, including sourcing images from the island’s many historic archives, libraries, organizations, and print media, I delved into the history of some of the unique individuals and groups, past and present, who have impacted their community throughout its 375-year history.
I profiled 120 diverse Newport locals in 40,000 words, edited to publisher specifications, and scheduled the book’s launch event as well as many other book signings. I also offered lectures and presentations, and continue to manage sales at retail outlets.
